Already Past Nine

Posted: January 25, 2012 in So called Poetry

When cold wind sends a chill down my spine,
I stare into space and think about the time,
When all was well and life was fine.
But now, between us, there is a line,
Separating us, your world and mine.
But I know our hearts’ll never be entwined,
Even though it’s already past nine.
