Pretty, White you

Posted: April 27, 2012 in So called Poetry

You’re powder in my blood,
pretty, fine white powder.
But I’m riding you out
like a harras of horses,
pretty, white horses.

The shakes. Shhh.
The pretty, white flakes
of you, pretty white you
still falling.
I’m still falling.

“You are on drugs”
they always say.
If only they knew,
All that’s inside me
is pretty, white you.

But all that was pretty,
is pretty no more.
I’ll ride you out, pretty,
undress and withdraw.

Dedicated to a very close friend, fighting to get off the ‘pretty white thing’

    Cocaine v/s Humanity battle, right?

    • right.!! but much more than humanity, it’s Cocaine v/s Life, at times it hurts a lot to see your friends suffering, may he find the will and strength to come out of it soon.
